Drawing in Boracay in the Philippines - what a wonderful setting!
From a very young age I always loved drawing, mainly in pencil, and nearly always animals. On leaving school I would have liked to have gone to Art College to study art, but was encouraged to get a so called “proper” career. I always kept drawing though and whilst living in Abu Dhabi I met an English artist with whom I studied various mediums and techniques. During this time I was encouraged to paint lots of different subjects but always came back to painting my first love - animals. A few years ago I decided to concentrate solely on animal portraits and since the birth of my daughter, find it a wonderful way to work from home pursuing the career I always wanted. I recently also completed a course with the London Art College. I am originally from the South of England but have just moved to the Philippines with my husband for a four year stay.
