PASTEL
Pastel is a wonderful medium with its rich brilliant colours and is also very resilient over time. The mediums malleability and vividness of colour invite a very painterly approach. Pastel crayon is slowly built up in stages, carefully adding layers to achieve realistic results.
Pastel is very fragile until it is framed and under glass, therefore it is difficult to post and only suitable for clients living in the Philippines. Sorry, I am working on this to find a good packing solution for overseas customers.
A pastel portrait takes about 3 - 5 weeks to complete.

OIL
Oil is by far my favourite medium, such wonderful results can be achieved and it is an incredibly versatile medium. With oil paint you can achieve both transparent and opaque effects. Of course price wise it is the most expensive, as so much work goes into an oil painting. Different sizes are available by request.
I don't like to rush oil paintings, so please order months in advance if it is for a certain date.
