Backgrounds
Detailed backgrounds can often take away the impact of the animal, therefore I prefer to draw without a background. Having said that if you have a specific background in mind please email me your photographs and ideas, if it isn't too obtrusive on the portrait it might work well.
Extra Faces
You can add extra faces to your portrait if you have more than one animal. However it is really important the photos 'fit together well' in the portrait.
Please email me your photos, I can then to a mock composition to see how the portrait would work.
Full Body
Full body drawings are also an option but you will not achieve the character in the face unless you go for a large study. I want you to see that special 'glint' in your pets eye. An exception to this is cats who often benefit from being a full body study.
